We provide compassionate, evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to meet your unique needs.
We are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, covering areas including Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield. Our sessions can take place in your own home, or at your child's nursery, school, college or alternative setting of your choice.
Free Initial 15 minute Phone Call
Once we receive your initial enquiry, we’ll schedule a convenient time to call you. During this conversation, we’ll explore your reasons for reaching out in more detail and determine whether your child would benefit from support with Speech and Language Therapy with Gemma.
Initial Assessment
Your first appointment with Speech & Language Therapy with Gemma, will be arranged for a time and place that suits you and your child. Initial assessments typically take 60 minutes. During the assessment we will try to ensure your child feels comfortable and at ease. Depending on their needs, we may conduct a formal assessment or gather insights through observation, play, and conversation. You will receive verbal feedback immediately after the session. We will discuss our recommendations, and a short summary report will be provided. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Follow-up Speech and Language Support
Follow up sessions at Speech & Language Therapy with Gemma may include: - additional assessment sessions - therapy sessions - modelling and coaching sessions. Follow up sessions will typically be 30-45 minutes
Report
As part of your initial assessment, you will receive a summary report. If needed, more detailed or formal reports are available for an additional fee.
Additional Services
Additional services such as attendance at EHCP or ISAR meetings, training, tribunal support, advocacy support can be agreed at an additional cost.
